 Report of Quiz conducted on systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation

Quiz was conducted in Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences on 8/11/2024 for 1st year MBBS students

A total of 150 students participated, 2 students in 1 team therefore, 75 teams participated in the quiz

4 rounds were conducted, the 1 round contained 20 MCQs 1 mark each

Top 43 teams were selected for 2nd round, a total of 10 MCQs in 2nd round,

Top 19 teams were selected for 3rd round. 10 MCQs were given

Top 9 teams were selected for 4th round. 10 MCQs were given and top 2 highest scoring teams (1.Kusuma M & Aimann Sahafat, 2. Prinisha A & Sai Vanitha P) were selected for taluk level quiz

Family Adoption Medical Camp conducted at Molekoppalu PHC on 25/10/2024 

 

Family Adoption Medical Camp was organised for the residents of Molekoppalu and other villagers also participated in the camp. Camp was conducted in 25th October 2024.

GRBS testing and Haemoglobin level estimation was included in the camp. Based on the chief complaints, patients were advised to take treatment by speciality doctors. School students from respective village were included in the camp.

District level QUIZ Competition for school students

 District level QUIZ Competition for school students

Ø  Quiz was started at around 10.30 am on 13/09/2024 after inauguration ceremony in fourth floor lecture hall. 96 participants  had taken part in the quiz of which  48 teams (2 in each team). There were total 6 rounds – 3 preliminary rounds, 1 quarter final round, 1 semifinal round and grand finale round.  Top 4 teams are selected based on all the 3 rounds – quarter finals, semifinals and grand finale

Family Adoption Medical Camp conducted at Kothathi PHC on 24/07/2024 

 

Family Adoption Medical Camp was organised for the residents of Kothathi, Bevanahalii and other villagers also participated in the camp. Camp was conducted in 24th July 2024.  MIMS undergraduates students had put up a street play regarding Dengue awareness and Menstrual hygiene.

GRBS testing, Hemoglobin level estimation and Blood Grouping was included in the camp. Based on the chief complaints, patients were advised to take treatment by speciality doctors. School students from respective villages were included in the camp.

Workshop on BIOETHICS

ORGANIZED BY INSTITUTIONAL ETHICAL COMMITTEE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY MEDICINE

Workshop on Post Graduation orientation was organized on 07th and 14th JUNE 2024 by the department of Community Medicine, MIMS Mandya for the 3rd year post graduate students of batch 2021.

Venue: 4th floor demo hall, MIMS Mandya, Karnataka

DAY 1

The workshop started as the Introduction to Bioethics by Dr Nagabhushan.



Next Dr Ashwin Narayan who oriented about Professional negligence, Medical records and Duties of doctor.

 

Next Dr Manju B oriented about Good Clinical practices and Bioethics in ICU.

Next the sessions continued with Dr Archana taking the stage with Bioethics in Emergency care and OT.


Next Dr Subhas Babu P oriented about Bioethics during Epidemic and Ethics regarding HIV.

Later Dr Hanumantharaju took the stage about Good laboratory practices and bioethics in Medical research.

Next afternoon session started with Dr Vinay M oriented about solving modules in Ethics Review of Health Research.


DAY 2

Dr. Vinay M.: Under PHC Beby, community assessment was done in Karekatte and Tharanigere villages

Dr. Subhas Babu P: On day 1 we visited Ugrapuranadoddi and Hangarapura which come under R B Halli PHC. Data was collected for MR surveillance

Dr. Hugara Siddalingappa: On day 1 we visited Way bridge and BG doddi which come under Gowdegere PHC. Data was collected for MR surveillance

Dr. Jahnavi Rajagopal: Under PHC Dugganahalli, community assessment was done in  Hullegala and Madahalli villages

 









Day 2 (03/05/24)

Dr. Vinay M.: Under PHC Shankarapura, community level assessment was done at two villages named Kurubarala, Muslim Block

Dr. Subhas Babu P: On day 2 we visited Kodagalli, Kanchugalli, Narayanpura and Muttnahalli which come under Kunduru PHC. Data was collected for MR surveillance 

Dr. Hugara Siddalingappa: On day 2 we visited KereAngala and  Santhae Mydana. Data was collected for MR surveillance

Dr. Jahnavi Rajagopal: Under PHC Poorigali, community level assessment was done at three villages named Sarguru, Balagere, Poorigali

 

 

Day 3 (04/05/24)

Dr. Vinay M.: Under PHC Guthalu, community level assessment was done at Guthalu, Sadath Nagar and Indira Nagar

Dr. Hugara Siddalingappa: Visit to Guthalu PHC

Sub center – Guthalu ward 23 and 26 ,Areas - SS Mohalla and halhalli Muslim block

Dr. Jahnavi Rajagopal: Under PHC D.K Halli, community level assessment was done at Ganalu, Ganaluhosadoddi and Basavanahalli
