Poster and Collage Competition on
Diabetes and HIV for World AIDS Day
World AIDS Day, observed annually
on December 1st, is a global opportunity to unite in the fight against HIV.
This year, a unique Poster and Collage Competition
was organized on 02-12-2024, focusing on the themes of Diabetes Mellitus (DM)
and HIV, aiming to raise awareness
about their impacts on health.
Objective

Educate participants on diabetes and HIV.

Encourage creative expressions to promote
preventive measures and healthy lifestyles.

Empower individuals to break the stigma
associated with HIV and chronic conditions like diabetes.
Participants

75 3rd year MBBS students for the
collage competition and other 75 for the poster competition.
The Poster and Collage Competition beautifully demonstrated the power of art in public health advocacy. It reminded everyone that awareness and understanding are the first steps toward a healthier, more inclusive society. As the red ribbons waved alongside vibrant collages and posters, participants and spectators alike left the event inspired to take small but impactful actions in their communities. Top 5 posters and collages has been selected and prizes were distributed.
