WORLD CANCER DAY - REPORT

On the occasion of World Cancer Day 4^th February 2018, Department of Community Medicine had organized quiz competition for 6^th term undergraduate students on 9^th February 2018

Venue: 3-floor lecture hall

Audience: 6^th term UG students

Duration: 1 hour

Quiz competition about cancer was conducted by 1^st and 2^nd year PG students and the quiz competition programme was moderated by Dr. Vinay M

A quiz competition was conducted for a duration of 45 minutes. Questions were asked  on the topic cancer which includes the etiology, clinical features, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of common cancers and at the end of quiz completion the correct answers were discussed with the UG students

At the end of the programme the queries of the students were answered and

Dr. Vinay. M distributed prizes to winners of the quiz competition programme was attended by the faculty of Department of Community Medicine.

WORLD Leprosy DAY - REPORT

On the occasion of World Leprosy Day January 28 2018, Department of  Community Medicine had organized a programme

Venue: 3 floor lecture hall

Audience: 6 term UG students

Duration: 1 hour

Power point presentation about leprosy was given by Dr. Mythily, followed by videos regarding clinical examination was shown by Dr. Bharath

Programme was moderated by Dr. Vinay M

Presentation was for a duration of 30 mins, videos was shown for 10 mins.

It was followed by slogan competition regarding Leprosy.

At the end of the programme questions were asked to test the effectiveness of the programme.

Progamme was attended by faculty of Department of Community Medicine.
